Office building Farringdon Too, run by flexible office and workplace space company The Office Group, and situated in the City of London, has won a new industry award for excellence.
Officebroker.com's Business Centre of the Month award for September went to the 1960s office building that The Office Group successfully transformed into a modern, stylish business centre for contemporary businesses, using sensor lighting to save on energy and other environmentally friendly designs such as recycling facilities, green roofs, rainwater harvesting and a wind turbine.
"The work they have done on the building has transformed it into an efficient, creative space and it provides a great environment for both established and start up businesses... Serviced offices are, after all, home to thousands of businesses of all shapes and sizes - including many start ups and SMEs," says the managing director and founder of Officebroker.com, Jim Venables. "Those that generate and maintain a positive environment in which these businesses can flourish should be recognised and praised - this is exactly what our award does." To win the award, office buildings need to show that there is both excellent customer service as well as a healthy and communicative relationship between staff and managers. "They have an excellent support network in place and the team look after their clients extremely well," Venables says of Farringdon Too.
